The music traces the evolution of a house from Medieval times to the present. Play in the order shown.. For more details about the houses, click here. The music does not reflect much of the stages the house went through, but just pays lip-service to them. Click on back arrow to return to the original page. The music sounds best here with headphones.
A note to a conductor/band director: Scores are included, which are written in concert pitch. The bass clarinet is written an octave higher than it sounds. Rits are written above the stave and not under it and a metronome marking is given where tempo is resumed.
